Our Story.

We are siblings from Central Mexico who grew up helping our parents in the kitchen of their small business making barbacoa. Later we went to culinary school in Mexico, but moved to Austin, Texas and opened our food truck, La Santa Barbacha, in 2021. It is a family business honoring our traditions of making and sharing barbacoa. We love to cook, create and enjoy food with our loved ones and the Austin community. 

We were humbled and honored to be awarded a Bib Gourmand in the inaugural Michelin Texas Guide 2024.
